My daughter took [Paint and Pages] Story Art camp with Andrea last summer. She enjoyed learning different techniques and using different media along with learning about famous artists and their styles. Andrea is nice and fun and fosters a creative environment where there is flexibility in how each child approaches their art. My daughter is looking forward to taking Paint and Pages camp again this summer!

My son really enjoyed this class and kept drawing the colorful emus and different variations of them afterwards. This was the stickiest art class he has taken in that sense! The teacher connects really well with the students and has very clear step-by-step instructions, shows lots of different ways to color the birds, and has just enough content. Sometimes I find in outschool the 45 minutes has too much in it, but hers was just right. Plus a great book she reads to them in the end!

Creativity comes from within, some know they have it... others may not. Regardless of your level of love, experience, or knowledge of art, Mrs. D finds a way to bring creativity out of everyone! Her passion for young people and art is heart warming.

After my 7 year old finished the class, she ran over to tell me that she just had the best art teacher ever and wants to take all of her classes! This is absolutely amazing to hear such enthusiasm, a first time ever!

My daughter has taken after- school art classes, art camps, as well as art class in school with Andrea. She’s cannot get enough- she loves creating and learning new techniques and skills. Andrea is extremely talented and she make art fun and non- threatening. She is invested in making the arts an integral part of children’s education and I am thankful for that. I would highly recommend her classes.

Andrea was great with the kids. She gave clear direction and mixed it up a bit with a nice, feel good about your art intro, the bird illustration and reading to the children toward the end. It was nice she trusted the kids to keep their mute buttons off the entire session and ask questions or interact, as long as there wasn't a ton of background distraction.

My six year old had a great experience at the story art camp last summer. His love of art grew exponentially by diving in to how illustrators engage with the story to create art. He especially loved using so many different mediums for creating his own illustrations and I loved that the projects turned out good enough to frame!
