An exploration of techniques, skills, and practices in art.
Using just the 3 primary colors, you will explore color theory by:
making a color wheel
identifying analogous and complementary colors
making a value scale
A value of any color is the lightness and darkness of that color. A tint is made by mixing the color with white and a shade is made by adding black. A tone is made by adding gray.

page ideas
INDEX PAGE IDEAS
Think about organization of colors and boxes. Paint them onto page 3 and 4.
Do not add any text. Leave spaces large and simple. Embellish when you have time.
Add small squares of paint to the bottom right or left corner of each page.
What do you want these pages to say about you?
This can be a collage about you, art that you like, things you like to do, or whatever you can think of.
See the samples projects to give you ideas.
